MAKING OUR OWN

STORIES FOR 30 YEARS

Thirty years ago, Inverness came together. Two football clubs were united. Joined as one, they became a team for all the community.

They quickly made cherished memories: rampant new boys tearing up the divisions…ballistic nights against mighty Celtic…Challenge Cups lifted high…the oldest trophy in the world brought here, to the blue and red banks of the Moray Firth. Those are some of the highlights.

Check out the whole story on the Official Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC website which features the latest news, fixtures, results, ticket info & much more.

This is an incredible compendium of memories, photos, facts and figures from ICT’s 25 year history, with quotes from many players, ex-players, officials and fans. Lovingly compiled by Ian S. Broadfoot, the author of ICT’s 2004 bestseller ‘Going Ballistic!’

ICTWFC & YOUTH ACADEMY

The ICTWFC Youth Academy has 170 girls registered from Under 8s up to Under 18s, with a pathway to the Women’s First Team.

The Under 8s, Under 10s and Under 12s play in festivals and friendlies, while the older squads play competitively.

The Under 14s have squads in both the Highland League (9v9) and the North League (11v11), the Under 16s in both the North League and Youth Performance League, and the Under 18s play in the Youth Performance League. Squads also compete in their respective league cups and the Scottish Power Youth Challenge Cup.

The Women’s Team competes in the Barclay Scottish Women’s Championship and are the only SWF Championship club in the Highlands. A full pathway ensures opportunities for First Team experience, and a number of Youth Academy graduates are regular starters for the Women’s Team.
