It's that time of the year where we start to prepare for our AGM and we are looking for new Board Members and we would love you to join us.
The challenges of the last few years have shown us that you can be a Board member anywhere in the country - or indeed anywhere in the world - so please do not let your location dissuade you from joining us.
Our AGM is scheduled for 6pm Thursday December 14th in the Boardroom of ICTFC Stadium and we would love to see you there - either in person or online (more details to follow).
BOARD NOMINATIONS & ELECTIONS
In accordance with the Rules of the Society, there are currently 4 elected members of the Board – however 1 will be standing down at the AGM.
Should there be equal, or fewer, candidates than vacancies available, there will not be a formal ballot of members but instead those people validly nominated will be put to the AGM en bloc. If a Society member has any query on this procedure, please contact ictst001@gmail.com
People willing to contribute and serve on the Board as a member must:
Be a fully paid up member of the Society
Must be nominated by two fully paid-up members of the Society
An election nomination form (downloadable below) must be completed and returned to the Society Secretary no later than noon on November 7th. The form must have the names and e-signatures of two members, who are nominating the candidate for election. All candidates must submit with their nominations a written statement of no less than 400 words and no more than 1000 words in support of their nomination.
The Society Secretary will issue ballot papers and copies of the candidates’ election manifesto if there are more candidates than the number of vacant seats. Details of any election process will be issued to members if there is a requirement for a ballot.
If you have any queries at all please do not hesitate to contact us and I have attached the Board Nomination form below which should be returned by 7th November 2023 if you are interested in helping to drive the Trust forward.
Regards
ICTST
