Supporters Trust: Administration Update

Hi folks

I wanted to update all Supporters Trust Members on how the Trust Board have been active following Monday’s statement from the Joint Administrators BDO.

After attending the subsequent Press Conference convened by Alan Savage on Monday, Trust Secretary Robert Andrew and I were interviewed by the BBC, STV, MFR, the Press & Journal and the Inverness Courier. As a result, we felt there was no need to issue a formal statement from the Trust at the time given the media interaction we had already provided. A flavour of what we discussed with the media on Monday is included in this P&J article (subscription required)

I was invited to attend today’s meeting of key Shareholders as a representative of the Trust, and was party to the full discussion held. Chairman of today’s meeting, former Club Vice Chairman and Club Advisor Allan Mackenzie has issued a statement (noted below) which provides an update on the meeting and what the next steps are. As you will appreciate, today’s meeting was bound by confidentiality, and I therefore cannot elaborate on the content of the Statement hence why we will not be issuing one ourselves.  However, I do see today’s meeting as a very positive step forward and would ask for your understanding that, whilst we are unable to say anything further about the club’s position, we will continue to work with all parties to assist with the next steps.

Whilst today has been more positive off the park it's important to continue to support the team on the park. Kel and the team have done tremendously well to eradicate the 15-point deduction, it’s important to continue to positively show our support for the remaining 7 cup finals still to play. This starts at home to Alloa Athletic on Saturday where a big vocal crowd could make all the difference. The club have issued a great initiative for this game for Season Ticket holders to bring along a friend, family member, neighbour or work colleague along for just £5 a ticket (max per 2 ST  holder). Why not use this opportunity to also take your friend(s) along to Bar 94 before or after the game and enjoy the pre & post atmosphere and a quality pint of Dog Falls. It would be great to see as many of you as possible.

See you on Saturday.
